DaVita still the Leader in Industry Five-Star Quality Rating System for 4th Year!

We’re excited to announce that the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) released the new star ratings from the Five-Star Quality Rating System today. DaVita continues to be a leader in the industry for the fourth year, with 93 percent of our centers rated with three, four or five stars this year compared to 86 percent for the rest of the industry! Notably, this is the highest percent of three-, four- or five-star rated centers that DaVita has ever had.

We are so proud of the commitment of our teammates and the incredible care you help deliver each day. The kidney care community as a whole continues to raise the bar for clinical quality, and has increased the number of dialysis centers receiving a three-, four- or five-star quality rating by 10 percent since 2016. We know that this is great for patients who now have the opportunity to access more highly rated centers and receive higher quality of care across the country. We are proud of the results and the high benchmarks we have set.

These ratings represent a combination of performance year 2016 and 2017, we expect performance year 2017 ratings to be released in October this year.
